You may benefit from pelvic health physiotherapy if you are experiencing:
Meet Jayne..
Jayne is a chartered Physiotherapist with a background in Pilates, Sports therapy and rehabilitation and she has a particular interest in Women’s Health and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
Her extensive movement and rehabilitation background allows her to combine pelvic health physiotherapy with exercise-based rehabilitation, helping women not only to manage their symptoms but build confidence in movement and return to exercise, sport and everyday life
What happens at your appointment
Your first appointment gives you time to discuss your symptoms, concerns and goals in a private and confidential enviroment.
Jayne takes a thorough, individualised approach, considering your pelvic health alongside any relevant gynaecological, obstetric, musculoskeletal and lifestyle factors.
Depending on your symptoms, an appropriate physical assessment may be recommended. This can include assessment of movement, strength, abdominal muscles and pelvic floor. An internal examination may be offered where clinically appropriate to assess pelvic floor muscle function. This is entirely optional, will be fully explained beforehand and will only take place with your consent.
From your assessment, you will receive an individual treatment and rehabilitation plan. This may include pelvic floor rehabilitation and support with returning to the activities that are important to you.
A supportive approach to Women’s Health.
” I am passionate about advocating for women’s health and improving awareness around conditions that women are often expected simply to live with. My aim is to help women better understand their bodies and provide individualised, evidence-informed care that helps them feel confident in their recovery and return to the activities that matter to them.” – Jayne
